It has a deep pure bass and crisp highs. I am using them as real speakers in my surround system and the sound is incredible. Thanks Amazon for carrying such an excellent product. Nice sounding speakers. You cannot tell the difference between the expensive brands and this one.
Sound great. I'm very happy with these speakers. They were easy to install. I did quite a bit of price comparison and hedging when trying to find in-wall speakers for my new game/rec room. and the price was right. Couldn't beat the price. I finally went with two pairs of these speakers (for my main speakers and surrounds) after reading the reviews. I figured if they sounded 'okay' it would be a good buy.After hooking them up (along with an in wall sub woofer and center speakers) to the new receiver I got for xmas I was blown away.
They were also pretty easy to install. The templates to cut the holes were easy to use too. The five stars that I used to rate this product is because of the value they represent, not because they're the greatest speaker to fit in a wall. I bought a hand saw that was made specifically for cutting drywall for about $4, which worked fine. I would be very surprised if anyone ordered these speakers, installed them as they were supposed to, and did not like them. I am using them as secondary main speakers, and they do the job very well. To a big degree, getting them mounted in the right place at the right height in a room with decent accoustics is key, and arguably as important as the speakers themselves.
The sound is great & installation was easy.They are quality made. I was not familiar with this brand but purchased them and mated them to a Pioneer receiver.
The sound that these speakers produce is well balanced, not too much high or low, and the speaker heads swivel (a couple degrees in each direction) so that they can be pointed to the focus of the room. Spring-loaded clamp-style pins make attaching the speaker cable quick and easy, and also provide the best possible connection. All-in-all a worthwhile investment. These speakers are fantastic, especially for the $$. They are extremely easy to install, whether you are installing in new construction or existing walls, the simply pop right in.
